Adopt a School Partnership Team "The Coalition"
•The Partnership Team is recruited from the local community
•The Team joins forces with the school to access particular challenges
•The Team provides ongoing support to the school using traditional and creative strategies to bring about positive solutions.
•The "Adopt a School" initiative is implemented and sustained by a “Network” of volunteers and leaders in Government, Education, Business, Faith Based Institutions, Youth Services Organizations and the Community.
The Adopt a School Team is provided:
A. By-Laws
C. Vision Statement
D. Mission Statement
E. Goals and Objectives Forms
F. Memorandum of Understanding or Letter of Agreement for participating schools, organizations, businesses, and churches
G. Process Manual
The ideal adopt a school team
We feel the results are better if the TEAM lives, works, or has a vested interest in the same zip code as the “Adopted School”. The ideal team will consists of at least 2 reps from each of the below categories
Business Leaders
Government Representatives pertaining to youth services
Faith based Representatives
Youth Services Organizations
Student Leaders
Community Leaders (Neighborhood Watch, Community Activist Committee, Philanthropist, etc)
Media Representatives (Radio, Television, Newspaper, Magazine, Internet, Publicist)
