"Adopt a School" initiatives support schools by: 1) Assessing the primary issues and unmet goals
2) Providing solutions and implementation strategies for such unmet goals 3) Connecting and encouraging
partnerships between our schools and community members who have similar interest and 4) Allocating resources.
"Adopt a School" participants are a “Network” of volunteers and strategic partners with local leaders in
Government, Education, Business, Faithed Based Institutions, Youth Centered Organizations, media and the
Community.They serve as Ambassadors to schools and offer assistance through: suggestions, donations,
volunteering, networking, recruiting, promoting, etc.
"Adopt a School" initiatives enhances the deliverability and effectiveness of the school by being
the trusted source of information, resources and solutions.
The "AAS" identifies the focal issue that is impairing the school from achieving optimal perfomance and results;
and works together with it's "Adopt a School" Coalition to implement strategies that will provide solutions.
"AAS" offers professional development/training/education, via individual on-site coaching, mentoring, webinars,
workshops, seminars, and conferences.
"AAS" sends a monthly newsletter to the school supporters in an effort to promote engagement, maintain a
healthy relationship and continue to garner support
"AAS" will also offer an online Web Resource for information, updates, opportunities, etc. Business tools to
increase school fundraising, analysis of industry news and trends, legal updates, and more.
The "AAS" promotes generosity and encourages individuals, corporations, and government officials to get more
involved with the needs of schools.
